BISSELL developed a Crosswave Cordless Max an all-in-one wet-dry vacuum cleaner and mop for hard floors and area rugs. It provides a cordless cleaning power to easily clean all kinds of messes on hard floors and rugs throughout the home.

Mongoose OS is used on the embedded device (ESP8266 based) integrated within the Crosswave Cordless Max and enables Wi-Fi Connectivity for maintenance, support, cleaning tips, and a usage dashboard via BISSELL’s easy-to-use app. It also monitors the consumables on Crosswave Cordless Max and allows customer to reorder them.

BISSELL evaluated different possible approaches and Mongoose OS was selected as it works out of the box and provides a significant value.
