On November 27th 2017, as a part of AWS re:Invent 2017, a "Building an AWS IoT-Enabled Drink Dispenser" workshop was conducted by AWS Solution Architects for AWS Solution Architects.

The workshop was run using ESP32 microcontroller, AWS IoT as a Cloud Service and Mongoose OS.
Mongoose OS took a central part in this workshop as it enabled the firmware part of the solution:

Mongoose OS allowed not only a quick a easy way to develop IoT firmware for the ESP32 based device, but also took care of the solution security by enabling secure TLS connectivity to the AWS IoT service.

On top of it Mongoose OS provides out of the box, commercial grade Over-the-Air (OTA) updates and allows IoT firmware development in C and JavaScript.
