This WiFi Button App is created by Matthias B. and allows you to create a simple and small WiFi button on ESP8266.

The project is using a button and a LiPo Battery. The software is based on Mongoose OS and sends notifications to an MQTT server and IFTTT over a direct web link.

How to start with this App?

  • Install and start MOS tool
  • Switch to the Project page, find and import the 'smallest-wifi-button' app, build and flash it:
